Hans Mentink, born in 1957, grew up in Leiden, one of the oldest cities in the small and friendly country of the Netherlands (Holland). He has lived and spent his business career in Holland, England and the United States, where he resides with his wife Ann Marie since 1993. They have enjoyed traveling together around the United States and Europe, and in the future hope to explore other parts of the world.

In his professional career he has been involved in aspects of the design, introduction and promotion of products by means of a variety of ever changing media. Over the years he has developed a great interest in arts and his skills in mainly digital photography.

In his photographs he shows a keen eye for a balanced composition, typically inspired by nature in combination with common objects. He creates work that is pleasing and inspirational without the need of computer editing and is constantly looking for new pictures worth capturing in time.
